On the 29th of February 2020 we held a fundraising event at Al Miraj banqueting Suites in Birmingham. This event helped to raise an amazing total of £2000 which will go directly towards the needy orphans that we support. Thank you to all the amazing people that attended and donated. Thank you also to the fantastic speakers that took time out of their busy schedules to take part in our event.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Holistic Social Care for organising last months walk for Al-Tawheed Orphan Charity. They've so far raised an amazing total of £773. Thank you to everyone who took valuable time out to take part in this charity walk.  We really appreciate all your hard work!

​On the 17th August we will be raising money for Al-Tawheed Orphan Charity by attempting to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge along with Team Holistic Social Care. We will be taking on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in 12 hours.

With your generous support, we have been able to continue to work with Markaz Al-Tawheed Education Centre in Burao to provide basic education to orphans in the Burao region of Somaliland. To celebrate the achievements of the orphans attending the centre, Markaz Al-Tawheed recently held an awards ceremony for them. 

 Through our partnership with ‘Markaz Al-Tawheed’, we have been able to provide orphans with a safe space in which they can have access to free education. Due to limited funds however, we have only been able to provide orphans with only Qur’an and Arabic lessons. These lessons form an integral part of the Somali education system. Through your kind donations we hope to be able to employ teachers for subjects such as Maths, Science and English. Furthermore, due to lack of space, the orphans are all confined to one room which has no tables or chairs. We hope to tackle this by providing orphans with a purpose-built building which will provide them with separate rooms as well as any required equipment. None of this will be possible without your help so please continue to support us!
